21 Savage Speaks On Beef Between Drake and Metro Boomin

On Instagram Live, the Atlanta rapper shared his thoughts on the ongoing feud between his two friends

21 Savage finally broke his silence on the ongoing feud between Drake and Metro Boomin.

During an Instagram Live, Savage shared that he doesn’t want to spend his time answering questions about the beef between his friends and collaborators.

According to the American Dream rapper, Drizzy, and Metro will one day put the beef behind them and become friends again.

"Don't keep coming on to my muthaf**king Live talking about no muthaf**king beef," Savage said.

"Metro my brother and Drake my brother. Those n***as going to figure that sh*t out eventually,” he added. If anyone has the right to remain neutral it is 21 Savage.

Most recently, he and Drake linked up for a joint album,  Her Loss—Metro produced "Mr. Right Now" and "Knife Talk" for the project.

21 and Metro have collaborated on three projects Savage Mode EP (2016), Without Warning featuring Offset (2017), and 2020’s Savage Mode II (2020).

Metro helped to spark the beef with Drake when he released We Don’t Trust You, a collaborative album with Future that featured a fiery guest appearance from Kendrick Lamar on “Like That.”

Drake fired back by targeting  Kendrick, A$AP Rocky, The Weeknd, and Rick Ross on “Push Ups.’ The 6 God even threw shots at Metro rapping, "Metro, shut your h* a** up and make some drums."

Metro responded with his diss instrumental track “BBL Drizzy” which mocks Drake for alleged cosmetic surgery on his abs. The track has become a viral hit on social media with numerous remixes and challenges.

On Lamar’s diss track “Not Like Us”, he mentioned Savage and Drake’s relationship where he accused the Toronto rapper of using connections in Atlanta for his own benefit.

Kendrick rapped, “You run to Atlanta when you need a check balance/ Let me break it down for you, this the real ni**a challenge/ You called Future when you didn’t see the club/ Lil Baby helped you get your lingo up/ 21 gave you false street cred/ Thug made you feel like you a slime in your head/ Quavo said you can be from Northside/ 2 Chainz say you good, but he lied.”

After the mudslinging on both sides, 21 seems to be playing it cool and waiting until his brothers figure it out.
