Kerry Washington Shines in New Trailer for ‘The Six Triple Eight’
The Tyler Perry-directed film hits Netflix on Dec 22.
Netflix has dropped the trailer for “The Six Triple Eight,” starring actress Kerry Washington.
The film, written and directed by Tyler Perry, tells the story of the first and only Women’s Army Corps unit of color to serve overseas during World War II.
Led by Major Charity Adams (played by Washington), the unit defied racism, sexism, and grueling conditions to accomplish an extraordinary mission, shattering barriers along the way.
The upcoming movie features an ensemble cast that includes Ebony Obsidian, Milauna Jackson, Susan Sarandon, Oprah Winfrey, and others.
It also features an original song by H.E.R. and choreography by Debbie Allen.
“The Six Triple Eight” hits Netflix on December 22.
