Blac Chyna and Derrick Milano Say No to a Prenup: 'We're Not Getting Divorced'
Blac Chyna, who shares children with former partners Tyga and Robert Kardashian, plans to lock down her fiancée, songwriter Derrick Milano, for the long term.
Chyna, real name Angela White, and Milano appeared on a new episode of podcast Angela Yee's Lip Service to coincide with the new season of Love & Hip Hop: Miami, where the couple discussed their engagement and marriage plans.
But while some spouses have opted to have a prenup to protect their wealth in case divorce is on the table, this isn’t the case for Chyna and Milano, who were asked about getting a prenup by Lip Service co-host model Jordan Emanuel around the 50-minute mark below.
“Well, you know what? I'm not against it, I'm not opposed to it,” Milano replied. But I mean, ‘cause she has a lot of stuff already, you know what I'm saying? She got her cars, like, that's hers. She got her Sprinter, that's hers. She has her house, that's hers. I have my stuff, that's mine, you know what I'm saying. But I'm not one of those people like, Oh, you need to do one.’”
But Chyna seemed to end the conversation by proclaiming, “There won't be a prenup…‘cause we're not getting divorced. That's it.”
The mother of two went on to explain that she doesn’t feel like she’s in “competition” with Milano compared to her previous relationships. “I've been in relationships to where as though ‘This is a competition? You're not going to win this one,’” she said. “It's never been like that, ‘cause it's some men that want to compete with you in a relationship, and it's wild. It's like, ‘I thought it was supposed to be me and you against them.’”
Chyna and Milano appear to be on the same team, as seen in season 6 of Love & Hip-Hop Miami, which appears to have been filmed before the couple got engaged at Howard University in October after one year of dating.
