Steve Lacy Responds to Drake's ‘Fragile Opp’ Diss with Hilarious Posts

The guitarist clapped back in style.

Steve Lacy had the internet tickled with his hilarious response to a random diss from Drake.

The drama unfolded during a live stream on xQc’s Kick channel, where the Canadian rapper took a playful jab at Steve while promoting Stake--an online casino. With Lacy’s music playing in the background, Drake tossed out the comment, “This guy’s like a fragile opp, but this is a good song, though,” seemingly referencing Steve’s connection with Kendrick Lamar.

The remark caught viewers off guard. However, Lacy, never one to shy away from a playful moment, responded in style on Instagram Sunday evening (Nov. 24). Sharing a photo of himself smiling with his fingers held out, as if to emphasize something small or delicate, he wrote, “Wait. [Laughing my a— off.] What in the…”

Not missing a beat, Lacy followed up with another post, jokingly asking, “Who’s tryna be my… fragile opp?”

As fans may remember, the guitarist notably appeared at Kendrick’s “The Pop Out: Ken & Friends” concert on Juneteenth. In addition to performing, Steve returned to the stage for a group photo with the evening’s performers.

The “Static” singer’s support for his fellow Compton native dates back to 2017 with their DAMN. collab, "PRIDE."
