Metro Boomin's Diss Track ‘BBL Drizzy” Is Getting the Remix Treatment
While the world has been focused on the lyrical duel between Kendrick Lamar and Drake, Metro Boomin's “BBL Drizzy” instrumental has gone viral on social media.
Metro, who produced “Like That” which is regarded as the jump-off between the two rap heavyweights, caught some strays tossed by Drake on “Push Ups”, his first diss track aimed at Kendrick. Drake rapped, "Metro, shut your h* a** up and make some drums."
In response, Metro produced “BBL Drizzy,” a term coined by Rick Ross after Ross unleashed his own diss record “Champagne Moments” accusing Drake of getting cosmetic surgery on his abs.
The track, which was released on YouTube and SoundCloud, earned more than 4 million views on the first day it dropped and saw over 100 million impressions on social media according to Hip Hop Daily.
Taking it up a notch, Metro made an offer to anyone who could drop the best verse over the track.
"Best verse over this gets a free beat just upload your song and hashtag #bbldrizzybeatgiveaway," he tweeted. He later added that the winner will also get $10,000 and the second-place finisher will receive another track that he produced.
Since its release, there have been numerous remixes of “BBL Drizzy” that have gone viral. Here are some of our favorite BBL Drizzy remixes.
