Report: Rihanna to Headline NBA All-Star Weekend Concert

Several streets around Fifth Avenue and Broadway are set to be shut down for the event.

Rihanna's return to the stage may come sooner that expected as reports state that the Bajan singer is in talks to headline an upcoming NBA All-Star weekend concert.

According to the New York Post, the hush hush event is set to take place on Feb. 12 in the Flatiron District of Manhattan. Though details of the concert remain meager, the scheduled closing of busy streets around Fifth Avenue and Broadway — specifically, from 23rd to 26th Streets — prove that something big is about to happen.

The Post's source also confirmed that the concert will last 45 minutes with an "A-list" performer to hit the stage that is yet to be identified.

Rihanna continues to tease the upcoming release of her eighth studio album, which has tentatively been dubbed #R8.
