50 Cent Opens Up About His Journey with Celibacy
Hip-hop veteran 50 Cent is embracing his celibacy journey.
In an interview on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” the “BMF” producer opened up about his decision to remain single and practice celibacy.
When asked if he had indeed adopted this new lifestyle, Fif said, “Listen, when you calm down, you can focus,” adding, “I've been good to me.” Colbert playfully questioned why he was amassing so much wealth if he had no intention of diving into the dating pool.
"It's when things start getting complicated, things start getting confusing because people are coming for different reasons," Fif continued. “If you go on a date and you have no interest in anything... I can see you now. Say, ‘Goddamn girl you fine but you ain't got nothing going on.”
Early in the year, Fif declared his commitment to "practicing abstinence" for the year.
In a post on Instagram, the rapper shared his ambitious plan: "My new idea is so big, I don’t have time to be distracted I’m practicing abstinence, I have been meditating and focusing on my goals." He added, "I hope this New Year helps you excel to the next level."
