Nicki Minaj and her new bae ting, Kenneth Petty, is still the talk of Barbie town since the Queen rapstress went public with the new flame and old friend.
Not all of the Barbs are shooting a thumbs-up to their femcee icon’s romance, however, after fans ripped the curtain back on his sketchy past as a convicted rapist. Nicki made it clear to both fans and non-fans that the controversy wouldn’t deter her from pursing her own happiness with him though, and rumors about marriage and baby carriages spurred quickly afterward.
But she does have the support of her fellow Queens flag bearer 50 Cent, who shared with TMZ that the new baedom in Barbie kingdom has his blessing.
TMZ caught Fif in Beverly Hills making his way to his SUV when they probed him about Nicki’s new Ken
“She already knew him,” he responded after the reporter asked whether he believes she’s moving too fast on the alleged marriage and baby talk. “Yeah, he from the neighborhood—Southside!”
His sentiments echo that of other reports surrounding the relationship…
Which hold that Ken is one of Nicki’s childhood friends from her pre-stardom days. She’s reportedly known him for years, but they’ve only recently decided to take their relationship to the next level.
