Here's Why Monica Refused To Join 'Real Housewives Of Atlanta'
Real Housewives of Atlanta has gone through several cast changes over the years and was allegedly turned down by Amiyah Scott and Keshia Knight Pulliam. No word on how true those two were, but Monica was a definite no.
Years ago, it was suggested by Andy Cohen for Monica to join the reality show. In an interview with People.com, she revealed why she never even considered holding a peach, "I would only join a show that I could also be executive producer of because what my children see me do is important to me. I would only be on a show where I could see everything before it airs and be a full participant in what it means.” She continued, “And my goal, if I ever were to do a television show, would be to help girls like myself or people from the communities that are similar to the world that I’m from."
That is what you call a boss move. We love Monica however way we can get her. She is a true survivor in the entertainment industry.
