Drug Charges Against Tiny Dismissed
Tameka "Tiny" Cottle is probably a little embarrassed about being caught giving her husband T.I. a handy during a recent visit to see the GRAMMY Award-winner in an Arkansas State Prison, but she should be over the moon about the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office dropping the drug possession charges that were filed against her in November.
In September, Tiny and T.I. were arrested by police in Los Angeles for illegal possession of ecstasy pills. The former Xscape singer pleaded not guilty. The D.A. did not file charges against T.I., who was sentenced by a U.S. District Judge in Atlanta to return to prison for 11 months for violating parole. T.I., the self-proclaimed “King of the South," had previously served time for an illegal weapons wrap. TMZ reports that the narcotics charges against Tiny were dropped this week after she completed 24 sessions of a drug diversion program.
Tiny’s awkward moment getting her hand caught in the cookie jar happened over the weekend when the singer was visiting her beau for New Year’s Eve. According to E News!, the incident in the prison resulted in the rapper being transferred to a more restrictive Special Housing Unit.
Perhaps all Tiny wanted was to give her man a little holiday cheer. Too bad they can’t celebrate the recent dismissal of her charges together as well. Tiny joined Dallas’s the Rickey Smiley Morning Show for a brief interview about the mishap in which ensures us “they just couldn’t see it.” It’s unclear exactly what “it” is and whether or not this was the couple’s first attempt at intimacy during visiting hours.
