It seemed like Whitney Houston had a lot to live for this year, including her first film project since 1996's The Preacher's Wife, the musical drama Sparkle (scheduled to hit theaters on August 17). In one of her final interviews before her untimely death on Saturday, Whitney, along with her co-stars Derek Luke and Jordin Sparks, sat down with BET.com to discuss the making of the film, including how Whitney channels her mother, Cissy Houston, for her role as mother to an aspiring singer.
