Reginae Carter Weighs In On Supposed Lil Wayne-Kodak Black Fight
Lil Wayne’s code of silence amid Kodak Black’s dogged attempts at provoking a rap beef with the Young Money monarch is surprising, to say the least.
But just because Weezy has remained mum doesn’t mean Reginae Carter, his 18-year-old daughter, has to abide by the same code. And that she did not.
Sharing a photo from Twitter of Wayne and Kodak Black’s photos side-by-side with a “Retweet for Lil Wayne, Like for Kodak” caption, she gave us a little hint as to why Mr. Carter has yet to respond to Kodak’s flagrant slander.
“When Lil Wayne doesn’t even know who the heck Kodak is,” she wrote.
Two million retweets and one thousand likes later, it all sort of makes sense, considering that Weezy has mentioned that he’s not familiar with most new generational rappers. Among the trio of rappers mentioned during an interview with the New York Times, (Lil Yachty, 21 Savage, and of course, Kodak), Wayne not only didn’t realize that they were rappers, he also had no clue they were the monikers of actual people.
“I swear to God I didn’t know you were saying people’s names just now,” he replied. “So that should probably answer that question. I just do my own thing.”
Looks like Young Kodak is better off hanging up the boxing gloves after all.
