LisaRaye McCoy Claims She Nearly Came to Blows With Nicole Murphy Over Her Ex-Husband
Could LisaRaye McCoy have ongoing drama with Nicole Murphy? The actress’ recent sit-down on the podcast “Reality With the King” seems to suggest so.
The former “All of Us” star appeared in a new episode posted on Tuesday, November 19, in which she alleged that Murphy, who was previously married to Eddie Murphy, had an affair with her then-husband, Michael Misick, the former Premier of Turks and Caicos.
Around the 1:02:00 mark of the video below, McCoy tells host Carlos King that she had read the manifest for her and Misick’s private plane, which, to her surprise, shows that Murphy had been a passenger.
“She didn’t ride on it with me and nor did she receive an invitation from me,” McCoy said. “If you have a girlfriend that has her own island, I would think that you would call and say, ‘Hey girl, I’m coming’ because I was getting everybody to come.”
“So why you would accept an invitation from him and you don't even know him is unbeknownst to me,” she added.
McCoy then claimed she called Murphy, who denied she’d been to Turks & Caicos before she stopped answering the actress’ calls. Raye recalled that Murphy was dating former NFL player Michael Strahan at the time, who she contacted to get answers before sending him a tape of Murphy dropping off Misick at a private airport.
“They opened the gate and they pulled up to the plane and she gets out and he gets out and I go, ‘Oh, I didn't know y'all knew each other.’”
Apparently, the evidence was enough for Raye to tell Murphy, “‘Wow, I’mma whoop your ass.”
“That's just how much I was just like ‘What, b***h? You don't do that. Friends? Friends don't do that now.’”
McCoy added, moving that mischievous calls for “an ass whoopin’” in her hometown of Chicago.
“I just had too many other things going on, but I can't say that I didn't try to get her,” she continued, adding that Murphy “said some old dumb s**t” that almost caused a fight. “And I was like, ‘Who you talking to?’ You know, and I had to let her know that I am not the one or the two,” she said.
Although Strahan and Murphy wouldn’t break up until 2014 after seven years of dating, including a five-year engagement, McCoy and Misick divorced in 2008 after two years of marriage.
