Tory Lanez Faces Isolation in LA County Jail Following Conviction

The recently-sentenced Toronto rapper is reportedly being held in what’s called the administrative segregation unit.

Tory Lanez is currently housed in Los Angeles County Jail and his conditions are pretty stark.

According to TMZ, the Toronto rapper, who was sentenced to 10 years in prison last week for shooting Megan The Stallion in the foot in July 2020, is being held in what’s called the administrative segregation unit, which is designed for inmates who cannot be safely housed with the general prison population.

The outlet also reports that Lanez only gets a few hours a day outside of his cell, and for those 120 minutes, he must be by himself. Additionally, he’s only allowed to participate in recreation for three hours a week.

These are the conditions Tory faces, which have been the status quo since he’s been behind bars after being arrested following the shooting. He’s waiting at the county jail to be reassigned to a prison, which TMZ reports should come within the next month.
