Powerful Video Of Malcolm Jenkins Using Only Signs To Explain To Reporters Why Black Players Kneel

"[He] is a true patriot. Fighting for justice is an act of love."

In a breathtaking moment of the conversation surrounding NFL players kneeling during the national anthem, Philadelphia Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins used signs instead of words to get his message across.

During a media interview on Wednesday, Jenkins held a series of signs which explained the police brutality the Black players in the league are protesting.

  • The first sign Jenkins held up read: "You aren't listening"

Jenkins sign interview came after President Donald Trump canceled the Super Bowl-winning team's trip to the White House after many players said they weren't going. Trump used the announcement to condemn the players for "disrespecting the flag."

  • Jenkins used statistics about Black people killed by police and cited other athletes who have used their platform for good

  • Jenkins was called a "patriot" for his powerful press conference
