Jacquees has reportedly been arrested and his mugshot has subsequently gone viral.
Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office records, obtained by HipHopDX, reveal that the singer was booked on Friday (June 23) for simple battery and obstruction charges – both are misdemeanors in Georgia.

It is unclear what happened or what prompted the arrest, but Jacquees (real name Rodriquez Jacquees Broadnax) was released just hours after he was arrested and booked, posting a $40 bond.
While this incident doesn’t sound too serious, Jacquees’ mugshot did make its way onto social media and appears to show that he suffered a blackened eye. It’s also unclear who or what gave him the injury.
