Police have new developments for the motive behind Selis's crime
According to San Diego Police, Selis was “distraught” over a breakup at the time of the shooting. Police say Selis phoned his unidentified ex-girlfriend to let her know that he just shot two people, reported ABC 23.
Selis's motive slightly resembles Steve Stephens, who shot and killed an elderly man and blamed his ex-girlfriend.
