'I Ain't No 80 Years Old': Reporter Tried to Round Up the Age of This Older Woman and Was Hilariously Reminded to Check Herself
Constance Landry just became your new hero.
While interviewing survivors of the New Orleans tornadoes that occurred earlier, one news anchor learned to never round up an age
Kellie Brown for WDSU interview local inhabitant Constance Landry outside of the building she has lived in her entire life. When the segment started, Brown called out Landry's age.
"She's lived here her entire life, almost 80 years," the report said, "and she's been through just about everything ..."
However, Landry cut off Brown's address and corrected her.
"I ain't no 80 years old," Landry said to the reporter.
When Brown apologized and called Landry 76, the older woman stepped in again.
"No, 75," Landry said.
When Brown asked Landry if she will be returning to New Orleans, the 75-year-old woman countered with the best response.
"Is an elephant heavy?" Landry asks. "I'm coming back, baby."
It didn't take long for the clip to become a viral hit and for Constance to become a star
People agree that in a world full of Kellyanne Conways, we should all strive to be a Constance Landry
