Even celebrities have fan girl moments.

While some would argue as a general rule it's best not to have high expectations when meeting your idols or that it's best not to meet them in person at all, Nicki Minaj, after meeting Lauryn Hill, would be the first to disagree.

Last night (October 15), both ladies shared the stage as part of Jay Z's Tidal benefit show, and afterwards, had the opportunity to meet for the first time.

Minaj's reaction to meeting Ms. Hill couldn't have been any more perfect, as the emcee completely lost her chill in the best way possible.

In the first of a series of posts capturing the special moment, Minaj wrote, "Excuse me while I have an outer body experience."

In the video clip capturing the two's first interaction, Minaj can be seen falling to the ground and scrambling to find the right words.

"No, no, no! I'm in love with you," a tearful and awestruck Minaj says. "Your spirit, your mind, everything about you."

She even recalls how she quoted Lauryn Hill in her high school yearbook, further exemplifying how much of a lifelong fan she is and how last night was one she will never, ever forget.
