Jamie Foxx Reportedly ‘Very Strong’ During Night of Topgolf Amid Recovery
Jamie Foxx is seemingly back to business after the actor was spotted playing Topgolf earlier this week amid his ongoing recovery from a highly private medical emergency.
In a series of photos captured by TMZ, the Academy Award winner was seen enjoying a night of golfing Monday evening in Naperville, Illinois. The outing comes just one day after the 55-year-old was seen aboard a mega-boat waving at cheering supporters passing along the Chicago River. It marked Foxx’s first public spotting since his mid-April hospitalization.
According to an alleged patron who spoke to the outlet, the Ray star’s swing “was better than the people with whom he was competing,” noting that Foxx was “very strong” and even came out as the group’s winner.
The unidentified source added, “He was walking regular, not dragging his leg. His arm movement were definitely good. He was just regular Jamie.”
As previously covered by BET, Foxx had been reportedly recovering at a rehabilitation center nearby after suffering a mysterious medical emergency last spring. Details about his health remain tight lip though representatives for the They Cloned Tyrone star previously denounced claims that the veteran actor was seriously injured by a Covid vaccine, calling it “completely inaccurate.”
Sunday evening Foxx shared a Twitter post, “Boat life. Celebrating summer with @brownsugarbbn. Stay blessed!”
