Here are six Black-owned businesses to support ahead of your 4th of July celebrations.

Tomorrow (July 4) is Independence Day, so your bar shelves and wine cabinets must be stocked up. Below are six Black-owned wine and spirits brands to support ahead of your celebrations.

Bayab Palm & Pineapple Gin

Spearhead Spirits, a black-owned, founder-led business to put premium African spirits in the world’s bars, released this new African-grown gin.

Bayab Palm & Pineapple Gin is a copper pot-distilled gin made with Nigerian and Ghanaian palm sap, South African pineapple, and baobab fruit from Ghana and Zambia. It is distilled in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey

Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey is reported to be the fastest-growing whiskey brand in U.S. history and the top-selling Black-owned and founded spirit brand of all time. The founder and CEO, Fawn Weaver, was the first Black woman to lead a major American spirit company. The name is inspired by the country’s first Black master distiller, Nathan “Nearest” Green. He was a former slave who mentored Jack Daniel.

Anteel Tequila

Couple Don and Nayana Ferguson created Anteel Tequila in 2017 out of appreciation for premium tequila. Nayana, who is a cancer survivor, made history as the first black woman in the world to have ownership of and lead a tequila company.

Viarae Prosecco

Viarae Prosecco is a sparkling white wine by actress, producer, and writer Issa Rae. It was designed to "celebrate good moments with great friends."

Ebony Wine & Spirits

Ebony Wine & Spirits is Charlotte, North Carolina's only Black-owned wine and spirits company. The brand is inspired by owner Camillya Masunda's Congolese roots and her way of celebrating the history and heritage of the different Black cultures around the world.

LS Cream Liqueur

LS Cream Liqueur is an award-winning cream liqueur inspired by a popular drink from Haiti, known as Cremas. Haitian Canadians Myriam Jean-Baptiste and Stevens Charles missed the traditions of the homeland, so they decided to launch their own kind using Stevens' grandmother's recipe. The creamy rum-infused cocktail has hints of coconut, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
