People Dragged Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones For Kneeling 'Before' The National Anthem
The Dallas Cowboys joined many other teams in the NFL by kneeling yesterday. However, "America's Team" locked arms and knelt before the anthem prior to the Cowboys' Monday Night Football road game against the Arizona Cardinals last night.
That combined with the fact that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones joined the team on the field for that gesture had many people questioning his sincerity behind the stance. Not President Trump, though, as he tweeted in support of the Cowboys' move.
That being said, people let Jones and his Cowboys know just that, calling him "phony" and the kneeling nothing more than a "photo op" with these tweets below.
Here's how Jerry Jones locked arms with his Cowboys players and knelt with them 'before' the national anthem last night
Before the anthem, not during it, Jerry?
Trump immediately got a case of Twitter fingers, pointing out how the Cowboys knelt before the anthem, but stood during it
Surprised?
Immediately, Trump supporters were angry over the Cowboys kneeling, period, while everyone else noted how 45 supporters' outrage was never about the flag
