After his arrest on Monday for a DUI, Bobby Brown's lawyer is defending the singer's driving, but not his drinking.
In a statement to TMZ, Brown's counsel pleas for patience while the legal process runs its course, but doesn't deny that the "My Prerogative" singer knocked back a few that night.
“Everyone is innocent until proven guilty and Mr. Brown was not driving erratically. He was speaking on his cell phone. Mr. Brown has not been convicted of anything associated with this incident," said Brown’s lawyer Tiffany Feder. "Mr. Brown is taking this matter seriously and an investigation is underway. The legal process shall run its course."

Brown was released shortly after his arrest and has not yet been charged with a crime. He was convicted of a DUI once before in 1996.
