Rihanna Celebrates Alexander McQueen in Fashion Shoot for AnOther Magazine

The singer rocks a bondage-style getup and mask to pay tribute to the late designer.

Rihanna is at it again with her sultry magazine shoots. This time, the singer is posing for AnOther Magazine’s Spring/Summer 2015 issue in a selection of dark and mysterious ensembles that represent “a celebratory layering of the past, the present and the future."

A close-up of Rihanna wearing a lacquer mask by Alexander McQueen is used for the cover, while inside we get a complete taste of the singer’s artsy side. Pieces for the shoot include looks from designer brands Comme des Garçons Homme Plus, Yohji Yamamoto and custom-made creations by Alexander McQueen creative director Sarah Burton. For a bit of blast from the past, stylist Katy England went into the archives and pulled a pair of daring leather heels from Lee McQueen’s 1997 collection for Givenchy that pays homage to the 17th century Chopine shoe. RiRi is literally standing atop a pedestal.
Because it wouldn’t be a typical Rihanna shoot without some enticing images, the singer poses topless for one photo, with her pierced breast peeking out from underneath an animal print jacket. In another, she writhes along the floor wearing a leather bra and briefs from luxury lingerie brand Agent Provocateur and patent leather Louboutin stilettos.
