Yikes: 50 Cent Drags Donald Trump Amid U.S. Coronavirus Surge
Last week, the U.S. surpassed the Republic of China for the highest number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the midst of the global pandemic.
Healthcare officials have been working around the clock to come up with a vaccine as cases have continued to skyrocket in major cities across the nation, grounding the economy to a halt. While China has seen a decrease in cases since the outbreak first occurred in the country’s Wuhan province, the situation is looking much more dire for the U.S.
Cases have continued to skyrocket across the nation as state leaders try to wrangle it. According to CNN, the U.S. has recorded 155, 876 reported cases and more than 2,845 people have died from the respiratory illness as the coronavirus rages across the U.S. The state of New York has been hit the hardest with a reported 66, 497 confirmed cases.
In the midst of the pandemic, Trump and his administration have repeatedly come under fire from the public and other elected officials for his mishandling of the crisis. State and community leaders have been left to take matters into their own hands in the absence of aid from the government.
On Saturday (March 28), 50 Cent took to Instagram where he made his thoughts on how Trump is handling the pandemic known and imparted a message unto those that voted him into the highest seat in the land.
The G-Unit honcho posted an image that read “You wanted a reality host as president. Well now you’re on Survivor,” in capitalized bold white letters against a black background.”
Along with that, Fifty had more to say in the post’s caption. “Yeah we f**ked up big time, but we gonna be alright watch. LOL,” he captioned the image.
