LisaRaye McCoy recently shared some huge news about her love life that may catch some of her fans off guard: she's now engaged to be married!

The actress, 51, got engaged on reality TV. Yep, you read that correctly.

She said yes to her prince charming on Monday night's episode of ABC's new dating series, The Proposal.

The show's format pretty much resembles most reality TV dating shows of the past. In this particular series, 10 eligible daters compete in four pageant-style rounds with the end result of one of them winning over the mystery man or lady.

After each round, contestants are eliminated, eventually leaving the final two contestants to be the only ones to meet the mystery person who he/she will propose to on the spot. The catch: there's no guarantee that the suitor/"suitress" will say yes.

Sounds wild, right?

Well, luckily for the actress' new fiancé, Anthony, she accepted his proposal.
