Suspect Arrested in Fetty Wap Robbery Incident
As more details emerge regarding what exactly went down this weekend when Fetty Wap found himself as the victim of an early morning robbery in an incident that escalated into a shootout, it appears as though the investigation may be wrapped up relatively quickly after all.
As reported, police have officially arrested a suspect, Raheem Thomas, reportedly charging him with gun possession and aggravated assault. Thomas, also known as Fuzz, has an alleged history with Fetty Wap, with many piecing it together that their differences arose due to Fuzz feeling as though he helped Fetty Wap's career rise to the level of success he currently is enjoying but that he has not been properly credited for his efforts.
Additionally, video footage of the incident has since surfaced online, where Fuzz can be clearly seen holding a gun as chaos ensues inside the deli. SMH.

New Jersey’s trap hip-hop VIP Fetty Wap, real name Willie Maxwell, has been named by law enforcement in a dispute that took a violent twist when gunfire broke out, leaving three individuals wounded at a deli in South Paterson, USA Today reports.
With no current information on what led to the altercation that took place at about 5 a.m., police said that Fetty and several unnamed associates of his were involved in the shootout but are not suspects in the shooting. Paterson’s deputy police chief Troy Oswald also said that the “Trap Queen” rapper and his affiliates were not named as suspects in the robbery that took place as well, in which additional reports claim Fetty’s chain and cash were snatched.
Fortunately, there were no fatalities resulting from the three injured individuals, and Fetty also made out unharmed. Currently, no details on the victims’ connection, or lack thereof, to the New Jersey native have been cleared nor reports of who was initially engaged in the blowup.
TMZ reports that despite no reports of a robbery being made thus far, law enforcement is currently afoot on the investigation into the shootout.
