Chad Johnson Proposes To Sharelle Rosado With A HUGE Diamond Engagement Ring!
For quite some time now, former NFL star Chad Johson and Selling Tampa star Sharelle Rasado have called each other fiancé and fiancée.
Now, they are officially engaged, according to People. On Saturday evening in Miami (Jan. 7), Chad got down on one knee and popped the question in front of family and friends.
His bride-to-be- was presented with an oval cut, 7 ½ carat ring during the surprise moment. Chad invited Sharelle to what she thought would be an early birthday party for him (turns 40 on Jan. 9). Instead, 20 guests were in the hiding to share the special proposal.
"I'm honestly shocked! I'm at a loss for words. This was absolutely beautiful and to see my family and friends here to celebrate our love, that really did it for me," Rosado told People.
She admits that Chad is not the type to plan something, “so for him to pull this off for me is so amazing. Just the thought he put into this and having our family and friends here to witness says a lot.”
The lovebirds are already planning the possibilities of the Bahamas being the setting for their wedding.
“It’s a special spot for us,” she said. “We celebrated our daughter’s first birthday in the Bahamas as a family over the holidays.”
They share a one-year-old daughter, Serenity.
