Trump Telling Puerto Ricans Hurricane Maria Wasn't A 'Real Catastrophe,' Is One Of Many F*cked Up Things He Said Today
'Trump basically flew to Puerto Rico so he could disrespect them in person'
On Tuesday, President Donald Trump made his way to Puerto Rico to address the local officials and people after Hurricane Maria devastated the island. Until now, Trump has had a contentious relationship with the mayor of San Juan and has been slammed for not doing enough to help the people. During his visit, he decided to help the situation by making things worse.
The president was called out for several questionable remarks he made during his visit, including but not limited to:
His comment wherein he suggested Hurricane Maria was not a 'real catastrophe'
Which received an appropriate response
He also did that unusual thing where he tells victims of natural disasters to 'have a good time'

A comment that was also met with obvious criticism
Trump was also dragged for blaming Puerto Rico for throwing the US budget 'out of whack,' disrespecting the San Juan Mayor once again, and praising himself for all of his 'work'
Trump's visit to Puerto Rico seemed less about helping those in need and more about insulting an island of US citizens to their face

And let's not forget the part when he threw paper towels like basketballs to people in need
And the people of puerto rico were not standing for it
