Mary J. Blige, Pharrell Added to Glastonbury 2015 Lineup
Mary J. Blige and Pharrell are billed for Glastonbury 2015, the festival announced Wednesday (March 14). The Queen of Hip Hop Soul and Skateboard P are just two of more than 75 recording artists revealed in the latest lineup announcement.
Other perfumers include Lionel Richie, Foo Fighters, Deadmau5, Run the Jewels, Roy Ayers and Azealia Banks. More names will be revealed at a later date.
In March, Glastonbury announced Kanye West as one of the headliners, eliciting major backlash from fans of the U.K. festival, which is usually ripe with rock acts in the marquee spot.
A petition to remove West was signed by more than 130,000 people, but ticket sales were not greatly affected, according to organizers.
Glastonbury runs June 24-28 at Worthy Farm.
