Scarface's Missing Son Found Safe
The 20-year-old son of rapper Scarface was found safe after going missing a week ago, authorities in Los Angeles confirmed Thursday (Feb. 6).
Brandon Jordan was upset when he stormed out of his Leimert Park home on Jan. 29, according to his mother. "He just got agitated, didn't want to talk about it no more, and just stormed out of the house with nothing," Melissa Lollis said.
Jordan, who is autistic, studies music at West Los Angeles College and aspires to be like his father. Although described as high functioning, Lollis said that her son wasn't likely to approach strangers for help. "He wouldn't go up to nobody," she said. "But now, in a desperate need without his wallet and not having his cellphone, he might reach out and ask somebody for money. I don't know."
Family and friends posted missing person fliers at some of Jordan's favorite hangout spots, as well as his school.
By Thursday (Feb. 6), all was well. "Thanks to everybody responsible for putting the word out my son is safe," Face tweeted along with added assurance, "Alive and Well! God is worthy of all praises."
Police would not say where Jordan was found.
