Jamyla Bolden Funeral Gets Donation From Wife of Cardinals President
Ira DeWitt, the wife of St. Louis Cardinals President Bill DeWitt, showed how huge her heart is, after it was revealed that she will be paying for the funeral of Jamyla Bolden. The 9-year old was murdered Tuesday night after bullets were sprayed through her Ferguson, Missouri home, wounding her mother in the leg and leaving the child lifeless.
A compassionate Mrs. DeWitt told KSDK, “She was an honor student and she was doing her homework on her mother’s bed and it literally broke my heart. And I have two children, and not only can I not imagine going through something like that, but then to worry about paying bills for your child’s funeral is like something that’s just so sad.”
Police are still searching for the killer as the community continues to mourn.
