Kendrick Lamar to Live-Stream SXSW Performance
50 Cent won't be the only act streaming his forthcoming SXSW concert online. Kendrick Lamar is also gearing up to give fans across the globe a show live from Austin, Texas, next week.
According to AllHipHop.com, Lamar has joined Apple's SXSW invasion for this year's iTunes Festival. K. Dot's performance goes down Wednesday (March 12) at the Melody Theater and will be available online for those who can't make it down to the Lone Star State.
Lamar is the latest addition to Apple's five-day festival lineup, which includes Pitbull, country star Keith Urban and Imagine Dragons, the rock group that performed with Lamar at this year's Grammys.
His SXSW performance can be streamed for free via Apple's iTunes store starting March 12 at 11 p.m. CST, through March 15.
Featured on stage with the "Swimming Pools" rapper will be longtime Top Dawg Entertainment affiliate ScHoolBoy Q and new signee Isaiah Rashad.
For festival goers who can be there in-person, the SXSW lineup is robust with new school and veteran rap names like Chance the Rapper, A$AP Rocky, Future, IAMSU!, King Louie, Migos, Nas and Mobb Deep. The concerts kick off Friday (March 7).
