A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie Arrested On Weapons And Drugs Charges
A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie has been arrested on weapons and weapons and drugs charges after an investigation into a New Jersey Nightclub shooting.
XXL reports that the rapper, whose real name is Julius Dubose, has been charged with one count of unlawful possession of a handgun and one count of possession of marijuana following the execution of a search warrant at his New Jersey home.
A Boogie’s home was searched because of a shooting incident outside of RAIN earlier this month. After celebrating his birthday, his entourage allegedly rear-ended someone’s car, which resulted in a fight that led to the shooting, sending one person to the hospital. The injuries are not said to be life-threatening.
During the search, police reportedly found and seized a Glock .40-caliber handgun, an H&K 9mm handgun, a Ruger .380 caliber handgun, and Smith and Wesson 9mm handgun.
They also reportedly found hollow point bullets, ammunition, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
The rapper’s manager, 27-year-old Samblou Camara, and his 33-year-old security guard Quashan Hagler, were also arrested.
All three men have since been released.
