With voting day just 8 days away, conversations surrounding the 2016 election have been tense, to say the least. 

Recently one young Maryland resident learned exactly what the democratic process means to his mother.

Kenny Okwara recently pranked his mother — who comes from Nigeria — by telling her that he would be sitting out for this year’s election. Upon hearing her son say that he would not be casting a vote, ChiChi unleashed her unrestricted thoughts on the subject. 

“You are so stupid! You have to carry out your civic duties of being American. OK?” ChiChi said. “Don’t act like a moron. This is the kind of thing you do, and people say you’re on drugs, you’re a moron.”

And don’t think we didn’t notice that low-key drag of Gary Johnson — the man who knew not of Aleppo. 

After the video was posted on Twitter, it immediately was retweeted and liked thousands of times. In addition to everyone sharing the video, several commenters also shared a strong admiration for Kenny's mother. 

With that being said, make sure to keep ChiChi in your mind on November 8th. 

Just remember, it's your civic duty.
