Porsha Williams Responds to Estranged Husband's Allegations of Abandonment and Gun Presence

The "Real Housewives" star refutes Simon Guobadia's claims, accusing him of misrepresentation and erratic behavior amidst divorce proceedings, as their split takes a contentious turn.

Porsha Williams is speaking out against her estranged husband, Simon Guobadia, after he responded to Williams’ filing for divorce with new claims that the “Real Housewives” star "abandoned" their shared home but later returned with a "man visibly bearing a gun for reasons unknown to [him].”

In his motion, Guobadia claimed Williams instructed "third parties" to harass him "in an effort to force" him and others out of the Georgia home. He also alleged that Williams invited the "armed gunman" into their home on two separate occasions. Guobadia also claimed that Williams, her mother and her mother's partner made a "forcible entry" into the home on March 24 to disconnect security cameras and "tampered with items and evidence.”

According to Guobadia, Williams’ behavior has been "erratic, unstable, threatening, and harassing" to the home's staff and their child upon filing for divorce, leading him to ask the court for a restraining order against his estranged wife.

Porsha Williams Files For Divorce From Simon Guobadia After 15 Months Of Marriage

Williams claimed that she returned to their shared residence on March 21 to "retrieve her daughter’s swim items" and again on March 24 "to secure her personal belongings." According to the motion, police were called to the scene on March 21 to keep the peace.

Williams is denying most of Guobadia's claims. In fact, she called them "false statements and allegations" that are "intentionally misrepresenting the reality of the situation." There was another incident earlier on March 7 where Williams claimed she went to the home and brought "personal security for her own safety in light of [Guobadia's] erratic behavior, including hosting multiple strangers who were unknown to [her]." She also claimed he disabled her access to the home on multiple occasions and has since fled the country to Dubai.

Williams said that Guobadia allegedly refused to adhere to the terms of their prenuptial agreement and asked that the court deny Guobadia's motion and grant her exclusive possession of their home, given Guobadia's "erratic conduct.”

Things are certainly getting messy for this uncoupling. Williams, 42, and Guobadia, 59, met in 2021. After one month of dating, they tied the knot in a Nigerian traditional native law and custom ceremony, followed by an American ceremony in Atlanta.

Williams said in her own words on social media, "Yes we are crazy in love. I know it's fast but we are living life each day to its fullest. I choose happiness every morning and every night."
