LOS ANGELES, CA – (April 10, 2013) – Grammy® nominated artist J. Cole, the first hip-hop artist signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label, announced today on BET’s “106 & PARK” that he will be joining an all-star lineup to perform at the BET Experience at L.A. LIVE on Saturday, June 29, 2013. Cole, a producer and songwriter, will take the stage alongside the likes of Miguel, Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q and hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg at STAPLES Center.  Each artist will perform full sets.  Also, Cedric the Entertainer, one of the reigning Kings of Comedy, will host a comedy show “Cedric the Entertainer & Friends” featuring some of today’s hottest comedians that same evening at Club Nokia.  

Cole has enjoyed a string of hits from his underground mixtapes and collaborations with recording industry giants Jay-Z, Rihanna, and Trey Songz to his much anticipated debut album Cole World: The Sideline Story for which he was nominated in the Best New Artist/Best Rap Hip Hop Album categories by both the Grammys® and BET Awards.  Cole will also perform songs from his new album Born Sinner.

Acclaimed actor, director and comedian, Cedric the Entertainer, has thrilled audiences the world over through his hilarious movie roles and stand up shows.  He is best known for as being one of the four featured comedians in Spike Lee’s, “The Original Kings of Comedy” film.
