Nelly and Ashanti are celebrating the arrival of their first child together. 

According to ET, Nelly threw Ashanti an intimate surprise baby shower at the Dolce & Gabbana children's boutique in NYC on Sunday (June 30). The celebration included their family and close friends including, Fat Joe and Breland.

Fat Joe took to his Instagram account to share a picture of him and his wife with the couple. "Today we had a baby shower. I love you, my sister. I'm sooooooo happy for [you] guys. GOD IS GREAT,” the "Lean Back" rapper captioned the post. 

In another video shared on Instagram, you can hear Nelly on the mic and talking about the moment he and Ashanti reconnected during Fat Joe and Ja Rule's Verzuz's battle.

The couple revealed they were expecting their first child together and shared their engagement news in April. According to records, the couple got hitched and obtained their marriage license in St. Louis County, Nelly's hometown.
