Hands Off: Here's How Scottie Pippen Plans to Keep His $50 Million Out of Larsa's Pockets
It hasn't taken long for Scottie Pippen's divorce filing to get nasty.
Amidst rumored reports that the NBA Hall of Famer and six-time champion split up with his wife over her relationship with Future, RadarOnline.com is reporting that Pippen wants to amend his prenup so Larsa can't touch any of his $50 million.
Pippen, 51, has also requested the court to take him off the hook for alimony towards his wife of 19 years.
And that's just a taste of what Pippen is aggressively demanding as part of his divorce filing.
The website is also reporting that he wants "ultimate responsibility" in the form of full custody of their four minor children: Scottie Jr., Preston, Justin and Sophia.
“The Husband requests that this Court ... allocates parental responsibility whereby the Husband is awarded ultimate responsibility over issues relating to education, health care, and general welfare of the minor children,” Pippen's lawyers wrote, as part of the divorce filing obtained by RadarOnline.
Although the divorce filing was made in Florida, where the Pippens reside, Scottie wants to relocate to Chicago, where he most famously played alongside Michael Jordan with the Bulls. Even if he's forced by the court to stay in Florida, Pippen believes he should have his kids with him a "majority" of the time.
“If the Petition … is not granted, then it is in the minor children’s best interests that the Husband be awarded the majority of timesharing with the minor children during the pendency of this action and permanently thereafter,” his lawyers wrote, as reported by Radar.
Welp.
Well, this got ugly fast. And this is just the beginning.
