LaVar Ball Went in on Anyone Comparing His Family to the Kardashians
LaVar Ball and his family recently landed a deal for their very own reality TV show, which will be produced by Facebook.
But that shouldn't give people the green light to compare the controversial hoops father and his basketball player sons, Lonzo, LiAngelo and LaMelo, to the Kardashians because LaVar isn't feeling it at all.
"I ain't no Kardashain, I ain't Kris Jenner," LaVar told TMZ Sports recently. "We the Balls, welcome to the Ball era."
He added, "I don't like 'em, I don't dislike 'em, I don't debate [them] — Kardashians are Kardashians. The Balls [are the Balls]. We're separate. We're ballplayers. I ain't following nothing or nobody."
Well, OK, then.
Last month, Lonzo was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers as the second overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. The 6-foot-6 guard will likely bear the brunt of being targeted by NBA players over his dad's outlandish statements, which should make for highly entertaining moments for their reality TV show.
