The youngest of the Jackson clan and divine pop, R&B and soul music idol Janet Jackson has dominated headlines after the unfortunate reports of her calling it quits with her husband of five years and father of her newborn son, Wissam Al Mana.

But while the details of what has led to the split still remains scant in reports of the breakup, what some are implying as a gold-digging ploy has been fiercely clapped back at courtesy of the global fan base of the five-time Grammy Award-winning songstress.  

The suspicion was initially drawn from additional reported details of the pair’s prenuptial agreement, which marks hefty spousal payments after filing for divorce after five to 10 years of marriage. Sources such as popular gossip site TMZ alleged that Mana’s billionaire status would definitely mean a larger payout for Janet, who is reportedly only separated from Mana, but filed for the alleged divorce just days after their five-year marriage milestone. So with several headlines narrowing in on the supposed millions that could be shelled out to Janet, who happens to be the signee of one of the largest multi-million dollar recording contracts in the ‘90s, her fans are definitely not here for the “gold-digging” accusations. They are here, however, to remind everyone that the last thing the financially established music legend would be is money hungry — and they’ve got the receipts to prove it.
