OG Maco Dead at 32, Weeks After Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound

The Atlanta rapper, best known for his viral hit 'U Guessed It,' passed away on Dec. 26.

Rapper OG Maco has reportedly died at the age of 32, two weeks after suffering a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Maco, who rose to fame with his viral 2014 hit “U Guessed It,” passed away Thursday night at a Los Angeles hospital, surrounded by his family, according to TMZ.

The Atlanta-born artist was celebrated for his raw, energetic style and his ability to push creative boundaries in hip-hop. Beyond his breakout hit, Maco released several well-received projects, including 15 and The Lord of Rage, showcasing his versatility and influence within the rap scene.

Maco had been hospitalized since Dec. 12 after sustaining a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
