People Are Sending Positive Vibes To Dennis Rodman After He Announced He's Been Sober For 30 Days

The NBA star said he stopped partying because "I want to see my kids grow up."

After deciding to change his life and partying, Dennis Rodman is celebrating after reaching a 30-day milestone of sobriety. 

In an interview with Page Six, the NBA start revealed why he decided to lay off the drinking.

“I want to see my kids grow up. I just needed to stop partying, take a step back and get my life back in order,” Rodman told Page Six.  

Rodman, 56, first checked himself into rehab in January after he received a DUI. When he began treatment at the New Jersey facility, he said he felt that he needed to make life changes.

“A lot of people connect me with partying and being a bad boy, but now I am getting up in age, so I felt it was time step back and to re-evaluate my life…like seeing my son, D.J., who is a high school basketball star, play for the NBA,” he added.
