Keyshia Cole’s Home Destroyed in Los Angeles Wildfires
Keyshia Cole is the latest celebrity to suffer a devastating loss as the ongoing Los Angeles wildfires wreak havoc across the region.
According to the “Love” hitmaker’s longtime hairstylist, Jonathan Wright, Cole’s LA home was completely destroyed while she was away in Miami.
On Monday (Jan 13), Wright took to his Instagram page, where he shared heartbreaking footage of the charred remains of the singer’s property. In the clips, what used to be her home is now reduced to debris, with bits of furniture and gates scattered among the ashes.
“@keyshiacole Prayers to Freen and her kids and family,” Wright captioned the post. “I ask everyone to send them a prayer to uplift her spirits. She was also affected by the fire. Like, literally, a week ago we were in Miami, and now to come home to this? It’s crazy. Mind-blowing.”
Fans quickly rallied in the comments, offering love and support to the beloved singer, including veteran singer Monica, who wrote, “Praying for KC and the boys ! And for everyone dealing with this horrific turn of events in la ! Thanking God they’re unharmed but this is behind traumatic for all !!! GOD WE NEED YOU !!!!”
While the mother of two has not yet spoken publicly about the loss, the tragedy highlights the unpredictable devastation caused by the wildfires.
As of January 13, the fires have claimed over 12,000 homes and structures and taken at least 24 lives. Our hearts are with Keyshia and all those impacted by this ongoing tragedy.
