Khloé Kardashian recently received some major flack after she revealed to the world that she chose to give her newborn daughter her cheating boyfriend Tristan Thompson's last name. 

However, a recent report shows that the reality star was, actually, "horribly conflicted" about the decision prior to her baby girl's birth.

According to TMZ, Kardashian chose the first name True "about a month ago," and, up until the cheating scandal went public, there was no doubt that the baby's last name would be her athlete father's.

However, the leaking of the video from last October changed everything for the reality star as it surfaced mere days before she went into labor. It reportedly left her conflicted on whether she should go along with her original plan or choose her family name, Kardashian, instead when it came time to fill out True's birth certificate.

The site reports that, according to Kardashian sources, it took her "a couple days" after True was born before she finally decided that the right thing to do was to give her her father's surname.
