KFC to Dwyane Wade: The Colonel Wants You Back

KFC is offering Dwyane Wade a job working the drive-thru window in exchange for a $250,000 donation to charity.

Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade says he is looking for a job during the NBA lockout.

Well, KFC would love to hire him to work the drive-thru window. In doing so, the fast-food chain is offering to make a $250,000 donation to its own scholarship fund in Wade’s name, writes the Associated Press.

Sounds like a worthwhile cause and one the generous Wade will likely take his former pre-NBA employer up on.

It’s funny how it all came about. Wade went out on his Twitter page recently and jokingly asked if anyone was hiring. KFC, where Wade once worked as kid, thinks it will be a great idea to bring him back to work the window as an honorary captain.

The way talks are going between NBA owners and players, Wade could be employed by KFC for quite some time.
