The People Suing Meek Mill Over Wrongful Death Are Being Called Racists
Meek Mill is maintaining that he had nothing to do with the murder of two people who died outside of a venue he performed at, but now there’s a twist.
The credibility of the people suing the Philly rapper may be tainted. According to TMZ, the venue’s claiming that the people suing are a bunch of racists. The rapper filed legal documents defending himself in the wrongful death suit and alleging it was the fans that incited the violence at a December concert in Wallingford, Connecticut.
The documents also dispute that his lyrics were what incided the violence. Live Nation, which also runs the venue, is being sued as well. The victim’s family called the fans at the show “thugs.” They’re not even being coy about it either.
The plaintiff's own attorney, Joel Faxon, told the celebrity website that he’s confident "the families of those shot at the concert agree Mr. Mill meets the definition of a thug." He’s also stating that Meek owes his audience a safe environment and to warn them of violence at past events.
Yeah, good luck with that, bub.
