Adrien Broner to Cop: I Love You Too
Dash cam footage of Adrien Broner's arrest earlier this year for Driving Under the Influence popped up online courtesy of TMZ, and it shows a strangely affectionate exchange between the boxing champ and a cop.
"Y'all don't know who you arrested. If y'all did, I'd be on the news right now," he tells the serveral officers on the stop, among claims that he wasn't drunk and a reminder that he's a $100 million athlete.
One officer, apparently attempting to keep the peace with a calming voice, then tells him that he did not do "well" on his breathalyzer test. "You're impared," she says, adding, "you should not be driving... it's not personal ... you look like you're in shape."
"No, I did well," Broner insisted. "I love you, too," he tells her. "I love you, too. I did well."
Although by the end of the 5-minute long video the cop says she's "happy" for him, he's still facing the charges. According to the site, he plans to fight them.
