Yes, you might have already heard about the amazing news, but we just had to add it here! On January 23rd, 2017 New Edition finally received their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The group received the 2,600th star a day before their epic "New Edition Story" biopic aired right here on BET.

Group members, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins and Ronnie DeVoe of Bell Biv DeVoe (BBD) performed at the 3rd Annual Hilary for Charity Variety Show event in 2014. This charity event was founded by comedian Seth Rogan and Lauren Miller Rogen to help raise awareness of Alzheimer's disease.

BBD were amongst the star studded crowd and performers at BET's send off celebration for President Barack Obama! The group had the crowd on their fit and pumping their fists as they celebrated President Obama! BBD & the other members of New Edition always know how to rock a crowd.

In the New Edition Story biopic, we got to see a quick glimpse of Michael Bivins interacting with boy band Boys II Men and ultimately signing them. They weren't the only group that Michael Bivins had a key role in fostering their careers. Other groups included: Another Bad Creation, 702 and MC Brains. These groups were signed to his distribution label Biv 10 Records at Motown Records
