The tension between Halle Berry and her ex Gabriel Aubry came to a head on Thanksgiving day, when Aubry got into a physical fight with Berry's fiance Olivier Martinez. 
According to TMZ, the trouble started when Aubry dropped off Nahla, his four-year-old daughter with Berry, according to custody arrangements. Martinez then attempted to speak with Aubry, telling him "we have to move on." The words seemed to incite rage in Aubry, who attacked Martinez. 
"Gabriel attacked Olivier and Olivier defended himself," a source tells People. The altercation landed both men in the hospital — Martinez for a possible broken hand and neck injuries, Aubry for a broken rib, contusions to the face and possible head injuries — and Aubry was arrested upon release from the hospital. 
Aubry was later released from custody on $20,000 bail after being booked for misdemeanor battery. Martinez went home to Berry and Nahla upon release from the hospital. 
A police department spokesperson said "the cause of the fight between the two men in unknown," though it seems evident that Berry and Aubry's contentious custody arrangement is the reason. Berry's request to move Nahla to France was recently denied by a judge.
